Nitte University, Mangalore Post Graduate Entrance Test (NUPGET-2015), which will be conducted in February 2015. The NUPGET will be held on Monday, February 02, 2015.
NUPGET is conducted for taking admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programs offered in various specializations in its constituent colleges, namely K. S. Hegde Medical Academy and A. B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences for the academic year 2015-16.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who fulfill the following criteria shall be eligible to appear for the entrance test, namely:

• Applicants must meet all the requirements stipulated by MCI/ DCI from time to time.
• Candidates should have successfully passed their MBBS/ BDS from an institution recognized by MCI / DCI.
• Candidates must have completed or be completing their internship by 30th April 2015 at the latest.

• Candidates can apply online.
• Candidates should by send 3,000/- by way of DD favouring “Nitte University” payable at Mangaluru along with a passport size coloured photograph and print copy of two page application duly signed, to the Entrance Test Cell, Nitte University, Deralakatte, Mangaluru– 575 018 by speed post.

Paper Pattern

• Medium of entrance test shall be English.
• Each question carries one mark. Correct answer will be awarded one mark. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.
• Question paper (booklet) shall be of 3 hours duration consisting of 200 multiple choice questions.
• There shall be at least 4 versions of the question paper booklet.
• Questions shall be of multiple choice type, each having one correct (best response) out of four alternatives.

COMEDK PGET 2015, Post Graduate Entrance Test 2015

COMEDK is the “Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” to determine the merit of students in an effective, fair, transparent and non-exploitative testing procedure. Presently 12 Medical, 19 Dental colleges, who make available almost 600 seats, are affiliated to COMEDK and utilize its testing mechanism for effecting admission to PG Programme during the academic year 2015-2016. In this behalf, COMEDK has programmed to conduct Post Graduate Entrance Test 2015 (PGET – 2015) on 01/02/2015.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates from all over the country can appear for the said entrance examination. The eligibility criteria for Post Graduate Degree / Diploma programs have been as published by COMEDK in its Notification dated 01-10-2014 on its website which are reproduced as under:-

1. Applicants must meet all the requirements stipulated by MCI / DCI from time to time.
2. They should have successfully passed their MBBS / BDS from an Institution recognized by MCI / DCI.
3. They must have completed or be completing their internship by 30th April 2015 at the latest.
4. The minimum percentage of marks in the COMEDK PGET – 2015 shall be 50% for General Merit candidates and 40% for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe (All India) and Other Backward Classes belonging to Karnataka State.
5. They should have obtained permanent registration with the MCI / DCI or any of the State Medical / Dental Council.
6. Candidates who are unacceptable:

• Candidates already holding a PG Degree in any specialty. 
• Candidates who are pursuing a PG Degree / Diploma in any clinical specialty after securing the seat through COMEDK in the earlier years. 
• Candidates having selected a seat earlier through COMEDK and failed to join the college so selected or failed to surrender the said seat at the COMEDK level or having joined the college failed to pursue the course. 
• Candidates who have been debarred by COMEDK during the previous years for any examination malpractice. 

Note:

1. Notwithstanding the eligibility criteria mentioned as above, the changes, if any, effected by MCI/DCI or any other competent Regulatory Authorities shall be adopted.
2. In the case of an Indian national with the recognized degree from a Foreign University, the degree should have been duly registered in the country where the degree is obtained and should also have been recognized by the Medical/Dental Council of India.
3. Rank list / Rank Card will be prepared only for those candidates who become eligible for admission to Post Graduate Courses as per the regulations of Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India.

1. Non-refundable Demand Draft (DD) for Rs. 2500/- (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred Only) being Application fee; application number & applicant’s name shall be written on the reverse of the DD. Check for the banker’s seal and signature on the DD.

3. Photocopy of SSLC / 10th STD Marks card.
4. Photocopy of the Unique ID Proof mentioned in the Request for Application (RFA)
5. A photocopy of All marks cards / Consolidated Marks Sheet including that of failed year, if any (First Year to Final Year university examination marks card/s). Notified on 03/11/2014
6. Photocopy of Attempt Certificatee., a statement indicating the number of attempt one has taken to clear a particular subject/year.
7. Photocopy of Internship Completion Certificate / Internship Completed Certificate; a specimen is indicated as at Annexure V of the Brochure for those who are likely to complete the Internship on or before 30th April 2015.
8. Photocopy of Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate / Passing Certificate / Course Completion Certificate.
9. Photocopy of Registration Certificate / Provisional Registration Certificate or a receipt / an acknowledgement issued from the competent authority against applying for Registration Certificate. (Not a mandatory document for the candidates who had completed their BDS in the year 2014.)
10. Candidates belonging to SC / ST (All India), OBC of Karnataka / Minority / Hyderabad and Karnataka Region would be considered, provided they furnish the duly attested Photocopy of the following Certificates.
11. SC / ST: Caste Certificate issued by competent authority (Authorized to issue such a certificate but not below the rank of a Tahsildar)
12. OBC: Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA and IIIB: As notified by the Karnataka Govt. Caste and Income Certificate issued by Tahsildar or higher revenue jurisdictional authority authorized to issue such a certificate.
13. MINORITY: Religious (Christian) of All India / Linguistic (Tulu/Telugu) of Karnataka minority candidates have to produce certificate.
14. Hyderabad and Karnataka Region: A Certificate, confirming the Hyderabad-Karnataka Region status, issued by the jurisdictional Assistant Commissioner of the corresponding district, as required, is to be submitted.

Candidates who have not produced appropriate supporting documents for claiming the status of Religious / Linguistic Minority/Hyderabad – Karnataka Region / SC / ST / OBC will be rejected.
Application form without any of the above mandatory documents will be rejected.
Instructions and explanation for sending the Online Application Form in physical format

• Please take a legible printout of the Online Application Form in A4 size paper and in portrait format; note down your six digit application number for future correspondence.
• Enclose a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 2,500/- in the form of a crossed demand draft drawn on a Nationalized Bank and payable to COMEDK at Bangalore.
• Please check for the Banker’s signature on the DD before sending it to COMEDK.
• Avoid stapling of demand draft to the application form and instead use clips.
• Stick your recent (not older than three months) passport size colour photograph only in the space provided; please note that application form with smudged / tampered / hazy photograph will be rejected.
• Do not staple or pin the photograph on the application form; please do not sign on the photograph as no attestation is required.

FOR ADMISION TO MBBS, BDS COURSES FOR SEATS UNDER 15% ALL INDIA QUOTA AND ALSO FOR SEATS UNDER THE CONTROL OF PARTICIPATING STATES, UNIVERSITIES, INSTITUTIONS IN THE ACADEMIC SESION 2015-2016
Online applications are invited for Al India Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental Entrance Test, 2015 to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi as per the following schedule for admision to MBBS, BDS Courses Under 15% Al India Quota seats and also for seats under the control of participating States, Universites, and Institutions in the academic sesion 2015-16.

• Date of Examination – 3rd May, 2015 (Sunday)

PATTERN OF EXAMINATION

1. The AIPMT Entrance Examination shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zology).
2. The duration of paper would be 03 hours from 10.0 a.m. to 01.0 p.m.

Eligibility:
(i) Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizens of India are Eligible for appearing in the Al India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) subject to the conditions prescribed in the Information Bulletin.
(ii) He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admision or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admision to the 1st year M.B.B.S./B.D.S. course.
(iii) The upper age limit for candidates seeking admision under 15% Al India Quota Seats in Medical/Dental Colleges run by the Union of India, State Government, Municipal and other local authorities in India except in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes.
(iv) Candidates from the States of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana are eligible to appear in AIPMT for admision in AFMC, Pune.
(v) The upper age limit for candidates seeking admision in MBS/BDS seats under the control of participating States/Universites/Institutions shall be as per the rules of the State/University/Institution concerned.
(vi) The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates. Further, for persons for locomotors disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST- PH/OBC-PH are required. Those who are appearing Class XI examination in 2015 can also appear for the entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later.

2. Online submission of application may be made by accessing the website website. The duration of submission of application form, without late fee and with late fees is given in FEE DETAILS/LAST DATE. Instructions for submitting online application, payment of e are available on website.
3. Online Application Form cannot be withdrawn once it is submitted successfully.
4. The candidate is NOT required to submit printout of the Confirmation Page to the CBSE.

MODE OF FEE SUBMISION

1. Candidates may remit the examination fee in the following manner:
2. Through any Debit/Credit Card using on-line payment gateway facility of Syndicate Bank/ ICICI Bank/HDFC Bank/ State Bank of India.

iii. Service tax is to be paid by the candidate, as applicable.

2. Candidate may keep the copy of the e-challan (candidate’s copy) with him/her as prof/record of remittance of e in case of payment through e-challan and transaction slip as proof of payment in case of payment through Debit/ Credit card.
3. No fee will be accepted by the Board in any other mode i.e. Demand Draft/Cheque/Cash/IPO/Money Order etc.
4. No request for refund of fee once remitted by the candidate will be entertained by the Board under any circumstances however; there is a provision for Auto refund of duplicate/excess payment.

RESERVATION OF SEATS & ADMISION IN MEDICAL, DENTAL COLLEGES

1. An Al India merit list of the qualified candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the Al India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test and candidates shall be admitted to seats under 15% Al India Quota from the said list only by following their Existing Reservation Policies.
2. Admision to MBBS/BDS courses in the seats under the control of participating States/Universites/Institutions shall be based on marks obtained in the All India Pre-Medical/Pre- Dental Entrance Test and other criteria decided by them.
3. Al other existing eligibility criteria for admision to Medical/Dental Colleges shall be applicable as per Rules and Policies of the participating State/University/Institution Concerned.

IMPORTANT

• The entire application process of AIPMT-2015 is online, including uploading of photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression, self declaration in case of candidates belonging to the States of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir
