AIPGDEE 2016 - All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Examination, as is clear from its name, is a National Level Entrance Examination. It is conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for admission into the MDS (Dental) course. AIIMS had been established as an institution of nationwide reputation by an Act of Parliament. Its object was to develop forms of teaching in Medical Education at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, in all its departments. The sole purpose was to demonstrate a high level of Medical Education in India.

The postgraduate courses AIIMS conducts is M.D. or M.S. and M.D.S. This article is concerned with MDS, as AIPGDEE is for admission into this very particular course. AIPGDEE 2016 is an umbrella examination for all students of Dentistry, as this is the only key to studying this discipline in our country.

AIPGDEE 2016 Application Form

• Application for AIPGDEE can happen only online. Please visit www.aiimsexams.org for the Application Form.  Basic details like the applicants’ individual details, contact details and prior education details have to be filled.

• The Application Fee for the General and OBC categories is INR 1000/- and for the SC / ST categories is INR 800. The PwD category is not needed to pay any Application Fee. The Fee can be paid online via Credit / Debit card or Net Banking. If the offline mode is opted, the Challan has to be deposited from any SBI Bank branch.
• The Admit Card has to be downloaded from the same website whenever it will be available for downloading.

AIPGDEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria

For pursuing the MDS course, the applicants must have compulsorily completed their BDS courses. The required internship (rotatory) must also have been completed, and that too, from a recognized hospital.

AIPGDEE 2016 Exam Pattern

• The AIPGDEE exam will be lasting for 3 hours, and asking 200 questions. It is an objective type question. Every correct answer will be rewarded 4 marks and the incorrect ones will fetch (-1) mark each. The syllabus will roughly comprise of the BDS syllabus.
• The Examination will be followed by a merit list and counselling.
• The syllabus for the All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Exam for admission to the MDS courses shall be that of BDS standard and shall cover all the subjects/syllabus taught during the BDS course as prescribed in the DCI Revised BDS Course Regulations, 2007 as amended from time to time.

AIIMS 2016 MBBS Exam Dates | Application Form

AIIMS MBBS 2016 popularly known as All India Institute of Medical Sciences is a national level undergraduate medical entrance exam conducted to offer admission in MBBS programme. AIIMS entrance exam is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (New Delhi). Those applicants who have an interest shall fill the application form from the month of March, 2016. AIIMS MBBS 2016 result shall be on the basis for admission to 672 MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS institutions located across India. AIIMS 2016 MBBS Eligibility Criteria

Applicants are eligible for AIIMS 2016 MBBS exam only if they satisfy following condition:

• Age Criteria - Applicants must complete 17 years on or before 31st December, 2016 at the time of admission.
• Education Qualification - Applicants must completed 10 + 2 examination or its equivalent exam from a recognized university with English and PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) as subjects to apply for the examination.
• Applicants must have scored at least 60% aggregate in case of general and OBC category applicants in PCB subjects taken together (50% in case of SC/ ST category applicants)
• Applicants overseas citizen of India are eligible to write AIIMS MBBS 2016 only if they produce the document of Registration under section 7A of citizenship act 1955. Applicant age and education requirement for these remains the same as above.

• The exam shall be in Hindi and English, no other language will be available.
• The format of the paper is computer based and consist of 200 multiple choice questions.
• The exam will be about 3 hours 30 minutes and it will be held in the morning (9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) and afternoon (3:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.)

AFMC PMT 2016 Exam Details - Armed Forces Medical College is a leading Medical Institute of India, recognized as an excellent hub for education and research. AFMC delivers training to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students with guaranteed career visions in the defence services. The Institute was established on 1^st May 1948 by an Act of the Parliament of India, on the endorsements of the BC Roy Committee. It was formed due to a merger of several defence medical organizations. The "Graduate Wing" of AFMC was established nearly 20 years later, to deliver a steady admission of medical officers for the Indian Armed Forces. The Institute is currently affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and is acknowledged by the MCI for conducting undergraduate and various post graduate medical courses.

AFMC conducts admission for various courses, among which MBBS will be discussed about, in this article. The duration of the MBBS course is four and a half years followed by an internship of one year.

AFMC PMT 2016 Application Form

• The AFMC PMT 2016 application form is usually conducted from April to May. It can be carried in the online mode alone. Please visit their AFMC PMT 2016 official website: http://www.afmc.nic.in/. AFMC PMT 2016 Eligibility Criteria

The applicants of AFMC PMT 2016 are restricted with a lower limit of 17 years of age and an upper limit of 22 years of age. They must have cleared their 10+2 Examinations from any recognized Board / University. The subjects studied must have been English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The minimum aggregate scored must be 60%, all the subjects combined. However, individual subject marks must have been 50%.

AFMC PMT 2016 Exam Pattern

There is no separate examination for AFMC PMT, as its admissions are based on AIPMT scores. A merit list will be displayed for the AFMC admissions. Henceforth, the applicants will be called for a test called ToELR, which refers to the Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning. AIPMT 2016

For the year 2016 the AIPMT 2016 will be conducted in the month of May 2016 (dates are tentative now). The AIPMT examination is conducted by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), New Delhi. Some Universities/Institutions/state governments are also participating in the AIPMT for using its merit list for the admission against seats under their control. The counselling for the successful candidates will be conducted by the DGHS under 15% all India quota seats.
Introduction
The AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test) is a national level entrance test for the admission to MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) courses offered by colleges for 15% merit positions in All India seats and seats offered by the participating Universities or Institutions or state governments. Being an entrance test for the dental courses, it is also named as the AIPDT (All India Pre-Dental Test). The exam is conducted every year in the month of May.

eneral Instructions

The candidates are advised to go through the general information for the AIPMT 2016:

1. The entrance test can be applied online only.
2. The Information brochure and the application form will be available only on the official site of the board.
3. All instructions for the online submission are available in the information brochure.
4. Before applying the candidates must make sure the eligibility criteria for the admission.
5. The candidates not satisfying the instruction given in the information brochure shall be instantly disqualified.
6. The candidates must keep the following documents for the further communication if required:

• 3 printouts of the confirmation page of online application
• Fee paid proof
• 2-3 copies of identical photos that uploaded on the application form
• Copy of self declaration in case of students belong to AP, J&K and Telangana and applied for 15% all India quota seats.

7. The candidates must ensure the mobile number and e-mail ID filled on the online application form.
8. The application fee can be remitted by Credit Card/Debit Card or E-Challan (Depositing in CBSE account with SBI, HDFC, ICICI or Syndicate bank).
9. Payment through IPO, DD, Pay Order, Cheque or Cash would not be accepted in any circumstances.
10. The candidates must retain the admit card till the admission in any institution.
11. Any acceptable correction in the online application form will be intimated through the AIPMT official website.
12. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
13. The candidates must choose the examination city and language of the exam carefully as the changes will not be allowed after the submission of application form.
14. The admit card, result, rank sheet and rank card can be downloaded only through the official site.
15. The candidates must retain the one post card size photo (colored with white background) for the further use.

Eligibility Criteria

The students are suggested to read carefully the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria for AIPMT 2016 is as following:

Eligibility for 15% All India Quota Seats

• The candidate must be the citizen of India or Overseas citizen.
• The candidates must have completed the age of 17 years as on or before 31st December of the year of Admission.
• The upper age limit is 25 years (5 years relaxation for the SC/ST/OBC candidates) as on or before 31st December of the year of Admission.
• The candidates belong to J&K, AP and Telangana are eligible to appear the exam only for the admission to the AFMC, Pune on the basis of self declaration.

Eligibility for Seats in Participating Bodies

• The OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) may also appear the exam subject to the rules of government of India.
• The upper age limit shall be considered as per the rules of states/ universities/ institutions for those candidates, seeking admission under the control of participating Institutions/ Universities/ States.

General Eligibility

• The candidates must have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology with English.
• The minimum percentage for general category is 50%, for SC/ST/OBC is 40%, for general PH is 45% and for SC/ST/OBC handicapped is 40%.
• The candidates appearing for the qualifying exam can also apply. They must have to show the passing certificates complying with the percentage criteria at the time of first round of counselling.
• Marks obtained in math shall not be considered for admission to MBBS/BDS courses.

Admission and Reservation

AIPMT is the gateway to admission to medical and dental seats under the 15% All India quota in government and dental medical colleges except the states of AP, Telangana and J&K. Many universities and institutions are voluntary participating in the AIPMT 2015 and consider its merit list for to offer admission under their control. Admission will be made on the basis of All India merit list of the candidates on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in AIPMT exam.
Reservation for the 15% All India seats are to be given on the following basis:

• 15% seats are reserved for the SC candidates.
• 5% seats are reserved for the ST candidates.
• 27% seats are reserved for Non-Creamy OBCs candidates.
• 3% seats are reserved for the physically handicapped person (only locomotors disabilities of lower limbs).

Candidates from creamy layer and do not come under Central List of OBC are advised to mention their category as General. The handicapped candidates must have to produce the Disability Certificate (issued by Safdurjung Hospital/ All India Institute of Physically Medicine and Rehabilitation/ Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research/ Madras Medical College) before the schedule date of counselling.
Other than 15% All India Seats:
In case the States/ Universities/ Institutions select to admit the students, that may prepare the separate rank list of the students on the basis of AIPMT rank list and other criteria. The admission rules shall be applicable as per the specific state or the university. The Admission to AFMC, Pune shall be subject to the norms prescribed by the DG AFMC, ministry of Defence, and government of India. In that case the candidates would have to apply on the AFMC official website.

Important dates of the AIPMT 2016 are as the following:

• Last date of online registration (without late fee): last week of December 2015
• Last date of online registration (with late fee): last week of January 2016

The AIPMT application form 2016 will be available online only on the official website of the board on the month December 2015. The application form can be submitted through the online mode only along with the application fee and other required particulars. How to Submit the Online Application Form

• Log on to the official website of AIPMT.
• Download the information brochure and read carefully the all requirement for online application form submission and eligibility criteria.
• Go to the link “Apply Online” and click the same.
• Fill the online application form part 1 and note down the registration number.
• Upload the scanned JPEG images of photo, signature, left hand thumb impression and self declaration (in case of candidates belong to AP, J&K or Telangana state) at part 2 of the application form.
• Make payment through appropriate channel as prescribed above and mention the details at part 3 of the application (in case fee remit by the e-Challan).
• Take print out of the confirmation page at part 4 of online application form.
• Submit the application form.
• Students must check the status of their submitted online application form.

AIPMT 2016 Admit Card

After the successful completion of the submission of the application forms, the board will generate the AIPMT 2016 admit card to all accepted candidates on the official site of the board. The admit card can be downloaded from the first week of the April 2016. All exam details like examination centre, roll number, time and date of examination, language of the paper and personal ID will be mentioned in the admit card. The admit card is the main ticket of the candidature throughout the entire admission procedure. An enclosure of a format for pasting the post card size photo can be downloaded through the official site. No other mode will be entertained except online for any communication about admit card.

Exam Pattern for AIPMT 2016

The AIPMT entrance test will consist of one paper only comprising 180 objective type questions with four objectives on the subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The answer shall be marked on a separate specially designed sheet using ball point pen only. The duration of the entrance test would be 3 hours only. The candidates can choose the language of paper either English or Hindi. Each correct answer will carry the 4 marks while any wrong answer or multiple answers will be punished with 25% of the total question’s marks.

Display of Answer Key and OMR Sheet

The CBSE will display the OMR Sheet and the answer key before the final declaration of the result. This is for giving the opportunity to the candidates to challenge in case of any uncertainty in the result on the website. The display of the answer key and OMR sheet will be opened in the third week of May 2016.

Declaration of Result

The AIPMT 2016 result will be declared by the board on its official website by the first week of June 2016. There will not be the separate result for SC/ST candidates. The result will be declared after the closing of window for answer sheet. On the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in AIPMT 2016 examination, the board will generate a merit list for all India seats.

AIPMT 2016 Counselling

The AIPMT counselling 2016 will be conducted by the DGHS (Directorate General of Health Science). The CBSE will only conduct the examination, result and merit list. The counselling procedure is bifurcated in three sections; Offline counselling, Online counselling and counselling for Delhi University. MHT CET 2016 Medical Exam Dates | Application Form

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Medical popularly known as MHT CET 2016 is a state level medical entrance exam. It is conducted to offer admissions in medical courses such as MBBS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, BDS, BPTh, BASLP, BOTh, BP&O and BSc. Nursing. MHT CET Medical is conducted by Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER). Those applicants who are interested shall fill the application form from 1st week of March, 2016.  In Maharashtra there are about 30 medical colleges, 18 are state government medical colleges and rest is private medical institutions of Maharashtra and admission are done on the basis of MH CET medical score. MHT CET Medical 2016 entrance exam shall be conducted on 1st week of May, 2016 at all the district headquarters in Maharashtra. MHT CET 2016 Medical Eligibility Criteria 

 

Applicants are eligible for the examination only if they satisfy following condition:

• Applicant must be born on or after 31st December, 1999 to apply for the examination.
• Applicants must be passed in Higher Secondary Certificate Examination or its equivalent examination from a recognized university with English Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to appear for the examination.

For MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BUMS: 

• Applicant belonging to Open Category must have obtained at least 50% (i.e. 150 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination
• Applicant belonging to constitutional reservation and constitutional reservation with Person with Disability claim must have obtained not less than 40% (i.e. 120 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination
• Person with Disability in General category must secure not less than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Exam.

For B.Sc Nursing:

• Those applicants who are in Open category must have obtained at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together at HSC (or equivalent) examination.
• Applicant belonging to reservation category must have obtained at least 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together at HSC (or equivalent) Exam.

• For BHMS, BPTh, BOTh:

  
  Applicants who have pass Higher Secondary Certificate examination or its equivalent exam with Physic, Chemistry & Biology can apply for the examination.
  
  

  For BASLP:
