UPMT 2015

Uttarakhand Pre medical Test or UPMT 2015 is a state medical entrance exam of Uttarakhand. The UPMT exam is conducted by HNB Medical university, Dehradun for the admission to medical courses (MBBS and BDS) in the top government and private medical colleges in the state of Uttarakhand on the basis of UPMT counselling 2015. The UPMT exam is conducted every year by G.B Pant University but from 2015 onwards it will be conducted by HNB Medical university Dehradun. and the UPMT exam 2015 will be conducted on 17th May and the UPMT result 2015 will be released in 31th May 2015.

About UPMT Exam 2015

The UPMT exam 2015 is scheduled to be conducted on 17th May; the candidates can apply online from the official website (www.hnbumu.ac.in) of HNB medical university Dehradun. Those candidates, who are the resident of Uttarakhand (having Uttarakhand domicile) are eligible to appear in this exam. Those candidates who are interested in medical field and wants to pursue their career as a doctor or dentist, then UPMT exam is one of the best opportunities for them to get their admission in the medical colleges of Uttarakhand and enter in the medical field. The candidates are admitted on the basis of marks scored by them in the UPMT examination and the seats in various medical colleges of Uttarakhand are allotted on the basis of rank scored by them in the UPMT exam.

• Starting Date of Online Application – 23 March, 2015
• Last Date of Online Application -25 April 2015 (till mid night)
• Last date for fees payment through e- Challan/bank draft along with submitting of  Form in University – 30 April 2015 (up to 5 P.M)
• Date of download of admit card– 5 May 2015
• UPMT Exam Date- 17, May 2015 (10 am to 1 pm)
• Result Declaration Date- 31 May 2015

UPMT 2015 Eligibility

Often the students are confused about the eligibility criteria of UPMT exam, here we will discuss in detail about eligibility criteria you must fulfill in order to appear for UPMT exam 2015. The details of the eligibility criteria are as follows:

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• The minimum age criteria is 17 yrs as on or before 31.12.2015 and on and before of taking admission in the respective college. The maximum age criteria is 25 yrs as on 31.12.2015, for reserved category candidates there will be relaxation of 5 yrs in the upper age limit.
• The candidates appearing for the UPMT exam must have passed class 12^th with minimum 50 % for general category candidates and 40 % for SC/ST/OBC category candidates. The candidates must have passed class 12^th with Physics, Chemistry and biology.
• The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination or class 12^th in the year 2015 are also eligible to appear in this examination.
• The candidates must belong to Uttarakhand (having Uttarakhand domicile) or must have completed his 10^th and class 12^th from Uttarakhand.
