NEET PG Result 2017
NEET PG Result 2017: The National Board of
Examination (NBE) has declared NEET PG 2017 Result on January 13, 2017.
However, the result for 50% All India Quota seats will be declared on January
15, 2017. NEET PG Result 2017 has been declared in the form of score-cards
consisting of candidate’s name, percentiles and All India Rank (AIR) secured.
Candidates can check NEET PG 2017 result by entering their NEET PG Confirmation
ID, Testing ID and Date of Birth. Candidates must note that NEET PG 2017 merit
list will be declared separately for 50% All India quota, 50% category quota
and state quota/private medical colleges/deemed universities/AFMS rank. In
order to become eligible for admissions in MD/MS/PG Diploma seats in 2017
academic session, a candidate belonging to general category have to obtain a
minimum of 50 percentile. However, for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC
categories, the minimum percentile to secure is 40. Candidates who had appeared
in the test can check below for the NEET PG 2017 result.
The validity of NEET PG result will only be for the current
session, i.e. 2017 admissions and cannot be carried for forward for the next
session.
Candidates must note that
NEET PG Result 2017 will be valid for the following seats:

DNB Broad Specialty courses (from January 2017 session)
·
MD/MS/PG Diploma courses at all private medical and deemed
medical universities/ institutes across the country
·
MD/MS/PG Diploma courses at Armed Forces Medical Services
Institution
·
All India 50% quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in all
states except in Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh
·
State quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses for all states
and Union territories of India including Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana and
Andhra Pradesh

Merit List 2017

2017
This will be the overall merit position of candidates amongst
all candidates who have appeared in NEET PG 2017
All India 50% Quota Rank
2017
This will be the overall merit position of the candidates for
All India 50% quota and is valid only for All India 50% quota
MD/MS/Postgraduate Diploma courses in 2017 academic session.
All India 50% Quota
category Rank 2017
This will be the overall merit portion of candidates in the
category (SC/ST/OBC) as opted during the registration process for All India 50%
quota and is valid only for All India 50% quota for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in
2017 academic session.
State Quota/Private
medical colleges/Deemed Universities/AFMS Rank
State quota rank, state category rank, benefit for in-service
candidates, rural postings (in case applicable) will be determined by the
designated agency/authority of the concerned state/university/concerned
authority as per regulations, eligibility criteria, guidelines and reservation
policies.
In case of two or more candidates obtaining the same percentile,
the tie-breaking criteria will be as followed:

In the event of two or more candidates obtaining same
percentile, the merit position will be determined by the number of wrong
responses by the number of wrong responses of such candidates. Candidates with
less number of wrong responses will be placed at higher merit.
·
In case of a tie with same percentile rank and same number
of wrong questions, date of birth will be considered for further
inter-se-merit. An elder candidate will be placed at a higher merit failing
which marks obtained in qualifying examination, i.e. MBBS will be considered.
Note: There is no provision of re-checking
/re-totalling/re-evaluation of the question paper and answer sheet and no query
in this regard will be entertained.
After the declaration of NEET PG 2017 result,
the first counselling will be held in the month of March, 2017, tentatively, by
Medical Counselling Committee for admissions to 50% seats in government medical
colleges of the country.
