WB PGMAT 2015 on January 18 conducted by WBUHS

West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) has announced the exam schedule of WB PGMAT 2015. According to officials, WB PGMAT 2015 entrance exam will be conducted on January 18, 2015 for admission to Post Graduate Degree and Post Graduate Diploma seats in affiliated colleges of WBUHS.
Admission to nearly 350 seats in 16 participating medical colleges will be done through WB PGMAT 2015 scores. The application procedure for WB PGMAT 2015 will start tentatively from third week of November 2014.
As per WB PGMAT 2015 eligibility criteria, an applicant for MD/MS/PG Diploma programmes need to have a MBBS degree recognized by Medical Council of India or State Medical Council of India. While for MDS course applicants need to have a BDS degree recognized by Dental Council of India or State Dental Council of India.

Another important criterion is that the applicants should have completed their compulsory rotating internship on or before March 31, 2015. Any candidate who is pursuing any PG course in any Institution/ college is not eligible for admission until they complete the course on or before April 30, 2015.

WB PGMAT 2015 exam will be based on the syllabus as prescribed by WBUHS. According to officials, WB PGMAT 2015 syllabus will be based on the one prescribed by Medical Council of India (MCI) and Dental Council of India (DCI). The question will be based more on depth of the syllabi rather than extent of coverage.
WB PGMAT 2015 entrance exam will have 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct response and 1 mark shall be deducted for every wrong answer.
