EAMCET 2016 Entrance Exam

The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test widely known as EAMCET 2016 is a state level exam. EAMCET 2016 entrance exam is conducted to offer admission to aspirants in various engineering and medical courses like MBBS and BDS programmes in University & Private unaided and affiliated Professional colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Applicants interested may fill the application form till April, 2016. This exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU). The rank will be provided on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in EAMCET 2016 examination for admissions. EAMCET 2016 entrance exam may be held in the month of May, 2016.

EAMCET 2016 Eligibility

Applicants are eligible for EAMCET 2016 examination only if they satisfy following condition:

• Applicant should be born on or before 31^st December, 1999 or must be of 17 years if he/she is seeking admission to any of the MBBS and BDS programmes.
• Applicant must belong to the Andhra Pradesh state and must be of Indian Nationality, Overseas Citizen of India – OCI (card holder) or person of India Origin (POI). 
• Applicants ought to pass in Higher Secondary Certificate examination or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually can apply for the examination.
• Applicants should have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% in Higher Secondary Examination in English, Physics, Chemistry or Biology subjects taken together to apply for the examination (40% in case of SC/ ST/ OBC category)

Steps for applying for EAMCET form are mentioned below:

Step 1: Applicants need to visit www.apeamcet.org to register for the examination.

Step 2: Applicant need to click on apply online and read all the instructions.

Step 3: Applicant need to fill their personal, qualification and other necessary details as mentioned in the form and submit it.

Step 4: Applicants need to pay their application fees online through Debit/ Credit card and offline through DD to complete the application process.

Applicants must take printout of EAMCET 2016 application form for their future reference.

• Applicants are required to pay the application fees is as follows:
• Rs 250/- for Engineering.
• Rs 250/- for Agriculture and Medical.
• Rs 500/- for Engineering and Agriculture & Medical.

EXAMCET 2016 Exam Pattern

• The test comprises of 160 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each.
• The Exam shall be for 3 hours.
• Applicant zero marks will be deducted for any wrong answer.
