PGIMER 2016 – Exam Dates, Application Form

PGIMER 2016 (Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Entrance Exam) is an entrance test which is conducted every year by the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Entrance Exam in order to grant aspiring applicant’s admission in diverse medical universities and institutions which provide M.B.B.S and B.D.S courses in private and government colleges and universities as well. PGIMER 2016 is an university level examination.

PGIMER 2016 Eligibility Criteria:

The PGIMER 2016 eligibility criteria is different for MD, Ms courses and MDS courses. They are as follows:

PGIMER 2016 Eligibility Criteria For MD/ MS courses:

The applicant should have gained the M.B.B.S degree from any University or Institute which is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The applicant should have completed one year rotatory internship or will be completing the same on or before and December 31 for January 2015 session and June 30 for July 2015 session.

PGIMER 2016 Eligibility Criteria For MDS courses:

Applicants should have gained the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from any University which is recognized by the Dental Council of India. The applicant should have completed one year compulsory rotatory internship or will be completing the same on or before June 30, 2014

PGIMER 2016 Syllabus & Paper Pattern

The syllabus for MD, MS and MDS courses will include all the subjects taught in the M.B.B.S course.

PGIMER 2016 Paper Pattern:

The paper pattern for MD, MS courses is different than MDS courses. They are as follows:

PGIMER 2016 Exam Pattern For MS,MD courses:

• The duration for this examination will be 3 hours.
• It will be conducted in a written format.
• 250 Multiple Choices Questions will be asked in the paper.
• The exam will be conducted in English language
• There will be negative marking. So applicants amy attempt as many questions as they want.

PGIMER 2016 Exam Pattern For MDS courses:

• The test duration for this examination will be 90 minutes.
• The examination will be conducted in a written format.
• 100 Multiple Choices Questions will be asked in the paper.
• The exam will be conducted in English language.
• There will be no clinical/ practical examination.

PGIMER 2016 Application Procedure:

To apply for this course, applicants can do so by visiting the PGIMER 2016 official website and filling the form. A certain amount of fees is to be paid with the form along with the necessary documents at the time of submission. All this process takes place online. Applicants must make sure that the complete form reaches the necessary authorities on or before due date, or else the form will not be accepted on any condition.
