Child Health is a branch of medical
science, which involves the study of how to provide complete care to infants,
children and adolescent. It is a study about providing holistic care to
children and teaching the parents the methods to deal with Child Care. One who
wants to specialize in Child Health can go for a Post Graduate Diploma in Child
Health. Post Graduate Diploma (Child Health) is a one-year course, during which
a student learns a lot about child psychology, the behavioural changes in
children during adolescence etc.
There are a number of colleges which
offer post graduate diploma in Child Health in India. The candidates with MBBS
degree from a recognized institute who have registered permanently with Medical
Council of India or any other State Medical Councils are eligible for this
course. Almost all the reputed medical colleges in India offer admission to
candidates in this course, on the basis of their performance in entrance exam.
After successful completion of this course, one can become a part of a
