Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot invites application for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma and MDSCourses for the session 2016-17. BFUHS Punjab PGET-2016 for MD/MS/PG Diploma/MDS Courses and 6-Months training in Ultrasonography 2016.Baba Farid University PG Entrance Test BFUHS PGET 2016 Notification has been announced. 

Post Graduate Entrance Test-2016 and Special test for NRI seats and six months training in Ultrasonography will be held on 13th February 2016 for admission to PG Medical/Dental courses in Govt. /Pvt. Colleges of Punjab

Eligible candidates as per Punjab Govt. notification/Prospectus-2016 shall apply online through BFUHS website

Important Dates

Availability of Prospectus at Website: 05th January 2016

Last Date for Online Registration for PGET & Six months training in Ultrasonography Course through Website: 27th January 2016 (without late fee); and 02nd February 2016 (with late fee)

Last Date for Depositing Fee of Rs 8000/- (Rs 4000/- for SC) in University A/c in any branch of OBC/HDFC Bank through Challan: 03rd February 2016 (upto 04.00 pm)

Note: Late Fee of Rs 10000/- will be charged for online applications submitted after 27th January 2016 i.e. Rs 18000/- (Rs 14000/- for SC candidates)

Last Date for Submitting Admission Application Form for NRI Quota: 03rd February 2016

Admit Cards will be downloaded from University Website: 08th February 2016

Date of Exam for MD/MS/PG/MDS Courses & Six-months training in Ultrasonography: 13th February 2016 (Saturday, 11.00 AM to 02.00 PM)

Declaration of Result by 19th February 2016

Eligibility Conditions

The admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma/MDS and six months training in Ultrasonography shall be open to candidates who have qualified PGET-2016/Special Test and eligible as per Punjab Govt. notification (incorporated in this prospectus in Part-B) and possessing basic qualifications i.e. MBBS for various Medical PG Courses and BDS for various Dental PG Courses

Candidates cannot claim a seat/admission on the basis of the PGET-2016 rank alone

The Selection Committee will determine eligibility and Merit of a candidate for admission against any PG seat, strictly as per rules and regulations laid down in the Punjab Govt. Notifications as published in this prospectus and all other such documents as are required alongwith the Counselling Form

No request for relaxation of compulsory rotating internship shall be accepted

Exam Instruction

The PGET-2016, Special Test for NRI candidates and six months training in ultrasonography shall be conducted on 13th February 2016 from 11.00 am to 02.00 pm at various centres as per details printed on Admit Cards

Candidates are advised to reach at the venue of exam at least one hour before the start of exam. No candidate will be allowed to enter the Exam Centre without Admit Card

Candidates are required to occupy their seats 15 minutes before the commencement of the Test as important instructions will be announced before the start of the Test

Candidates arrived after 10 minutes from the commencement of exams shall not be permitted to enter the exam centre

All canddiates and invigilators shall be videographed at the examination/testing centres
