MMU Ambala - All India Entrance Test for MD/MS/Diploma Courses Admissions 2016-17
The University will conduct All India Entrance Test for admission to the MD/MS/Diploma courses in the MM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research/MM College of Dental Sciences and Research Mullana for the session 2016-17. The notification for MMU Ambala PGMET 2016 All India PG Medical Entrance Test has been announced.
Course Duration
The period of training for obtaining MD/MS degree shall be three yearsincluding the period of exam. In the case of students possessing a recognised two-year
Diploma in the same subject, the period of degree training including the period of exam shall be two years
The period of training for obtaining Diploma shall be two years including the period of exam

For MD/MS Courses: Anaesthesiology (06), Anatomy (04), Biochemistry (03) Community Medicine (05), Forensic Medicine (03), Geberak Nedicine (12), Microbiology (03), Paediatrics (06), Pathology (05), Pharmacology (03), Physiology (05), Radio Diagnosis (09), Dermatology Venereology & Leprosy (03), Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases (03), Psychiatry (01), Otorhinolariongology (ENT) (03), General Surgery (12), Ophthalmology (03), Orthopaedics (06), Obstetrics & Gynaecology (06)
For Diploma Courses: Anaesthesiology (04), Paediatrics (02), Radio Diagnosis (02), Orthopaedics (02), and Obstetrics & Gynaecology (03)
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate will be eligible for appearing in the Entrance Test for MD/MS/Diploma Courses if he/she:
i) is a citizen of India;
ii) has passed MBBS examination from any Medical College/Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI)
iii) has competed statisfactorily or is liable to complete one year compulsory rotating internship by 30th April 2016 from College/Centres recognized by the MCI
iv) is registered permanently with the State Medical Council /MCI at the time of admission and;
v) possesses a certficate of good conduct from the Head of the Institution last attended
ii) has passed MBBS examination from any Medical College/Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI)
iii) has competed statisfactorily or is liable to complete one year compulsory rotating internship by 30th April 2016 from College/Centres recognized by the MCI
iv) is registered permanently with the State Medical Council /MCI at the time of admission and;
v) possesses a certficate of good conduct from the Head of the Institution last attended
The candidate will have to submit the above-mentioned certifcates in origional at the time of counselling without which the admission shall not be granted, except the certificate of completion of internship
Selection Procedure
The candidates called for Counselling will be required to produce all original documents/certificates/marks sheets etc. at the time of Counselling
Under no circumstances, any relaxation will be allowed to the candidates as regards appearing in person before the Board on the fixed date and time and producing the requisite origional documents/certificates/marks sheets etc
The candidates will be called counselling before the Board according to their respective merit and they will be entitled to exercise their choice regarding the subject
Selection of the subject will be according to the availability of the seats at their respective merit at the time of counselling
Syllabus (Exam Pattern)
Syllabus of MBBS examinations in various subjects as prescribed by the Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana/Marharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak/Kurukshetra University/Pt. BDS University of Health Sciences, Rohtak and duly recognized by the MCI with form the basis of the Entrance Test
The questions will cover the entire syllabus of the MBBS course
Scheme of Entrance Test
1) The test will be held on 14th February 2016 from 02.00 pm to 03.30 pm at Exam Hall M.M. University Campus, Mullana - Ambala
2) The candidates who secure less than 50% marks in the Entrance Test shall not be eligible for admission to the MD/MS/Diploma Courses
3) i) The test will consist of one paper of 360 marks carrying multiple choice questions
ii) Duration of paper: One hour and 30 minutes (02.00 pm to 03.30 pm)
iii) Number of questions (items): 120
iv)The test is of objective type - The candidates will be provided with a sealed the booklet containing an answer-sheet; the candidates are required to carefully read the instruction sheet on the question booklet before attempting

How to fill in the MMU Ambala PG Medical 2016 Application Form
Candidates seeking admission to the MD/MS/Diploma courses is required to send his/her application on the prescribed form appeared in the prospectus
Before filling up the Application Form, the candidate must familiarize himself/herself with the information given in this prospectus and check his/her eligibility to appear in the exam; the candidate is required to go through the prospectus carefully and acquaint himself/herself with all the requirements with regard to the filling-in of the Application Form
Application Form should be filled in English only
The candidate shall fill-in the Application Form in his/her own handwriting in the block letters written neatly and legibly with blue/black ink within the prescribed boxes
Overwriting/cutting/erasing in the Application Form may lead to rejection of the Application and should be avoided; any error arising on this account shall be the responsibility of the candidate
It is advisable to first fill in a photocopy of the form and then the main document
Application Form duly completed must be accompanied by one self addressed stamped envelopes (10" x 4½") with postal stamps of Rs 40/- affixed on the envelope
The application form duly completed in candidate’s own handwriting should reach the Admission office of the University at Administrative Block, Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana - Ambala, Haryana-133207 on or before 10th February 2016 by 04.00 pm
It may be delivered either personally or sent under registered post. Incomplete Application forms or those received after the closing date/time will not be considered

Distribution of Duplicate Admit Cards at the Exam Hall: 14th February 2016 (09.00 am to 12.00 noon)
