Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test (UPPGMET) 2016

About –

UPPGMET 2016 (Uttar Pradesh Postgraduate Medical Entrance Test) is a state level examination for Unaided Medical Colleges of Uttar Pradesh. For admission for the 2016-17 session, Uttar Pradesh Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UPUMCWA) will conduct the exam. All the participating unaided medical colleges will do the intake through UPPGMET 2016 merit list.

UPPGMET 2016 Eligibility and Educational Requirements –

• The candidate should have qualified his/her MBBS course from the recognized (recognized by Medical Council of India) institute.
• By April 1st 2016, his/her internship must get completed.
• Registration of the candidate should exist with Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.
• Foreign candidates/ NRI’s must fulfill the mentioned criteria which should be approved by the Medical Council of India.

UPPGMET 2016 Syllabus –

Covers MBBS course which candidate already studied in his/her Under Graduation.

• No separate books required.
• All the questions will be of MBBS level.
• The number of questions separately from each subject shall normally but not obligatory be as under-

UPPGMET 2016 Important Dates  –

Application Forms availability: October 20, 2015

Application form available at participant colleges: November, 15, 2015

Start of Registration: October 20, 2015

End of Registration/online form submission: January 1, 2016

Deadline for receiving application through post: January 4, 2016

Admit Cards availability: January 2016

Examination Date : January 16, 2016 & January 23, 2016

Result Declaration: Second week of February, 2016

Start of Counseling: March 2016

• Number of questions : 250
• Total Marks : 250
• Duration : 3 hours
• Question Type : Multiple Choice (MCQ’s)
• Negative Marking : 25 mark

UPPGMET 2016 Registration Process –

• Download the application form from official website upumcwa.org and duly fill it else visit the Cash Counters of the colleges that are participating and buy it with the payment of Rs. 3500/- and duly fill it providing all the details and documents in it.
• After filling the form attach all the required documents with the application (and Demand Draft of Rs. 3500/- payable at Bareilly, those who downloaded from website) send it to “Coordinator – UPPGMET 2016, First Floor, Anand Ashram Complex, Rampur Garden, Bareilly – 243 001″.
• Send the application form so that it may reach within the specified date and time.
