CEE Kerala Entrance Exam for Admission to MDS Courses 2016
The admission to Post Graduate Dental (MDS) courses in the Dental Colleges / Institutions in the State for the academic year 2016-17 will be on the basis of the Common Entrance Examination (PG Dental Entrance Examintation-2016) to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala. The notification for CEE Kerala All India PG Dental Entrance Exam 2016 (PGDEE 2016) has been announced.
The PG Dental aspirant candidates from the State shall participate in PG Dental Entrance Examination 2016 to be conducted by the CEE and obtain minimum eligibility marks as prescribed, for getting admission to Post Graduate Dental Courses (MDS) for the academic year 2016-17

Availability of Seats
For admission to MDS Courses for the year 2016 to the State Quota seats in the Govt. Dental Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode and Kottayam in Kerala and to the 50% seats available in the Self-Financing Dental Colleges in Kerala
Kerala PG Dental 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Candidate should have passed the BDS degree from an approved Dental College and duly awarded by any one of the Universities in Kerala or duly recognized by the Govt. of India as equivalent there to under the Indian Dentists Act, 1948, and who has obtained permanent registration from the Kerala State Dental Council after passing the final BDS Exam or its equivalent there to with eligibility for full registration in Kerala State Dental Council in all respects
Candidates who have completed one year (12 months) Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship (CRRI) as per DCI regulations in an approved/recognized Dental College on or before 31st March 2016 are eligible to apply
The condition of one year Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship is not applicable to those candidates who had passed their final BDS Exam on or before 1988 and hold a BDS Degree from a Dental College recognized by the DCI and have obtained provisional or permanent registration from the Kerala State Dental Council

Nativity: Applicants should have satisfied any of the following conditions:
i) Be an Indian Citizen of Kerala Origin
ii) Candidates, who are sons/daughters of Non-Keralite parents and have obtained BDS degree from any of the Dental Colleges in the Kerala State; but they will not be eligible for communal/PD reservation benefits
ii) Candidates, who are sons/daughters of Non-Keralite parents and have obtained BDS degree from any of the Dental Colleges in the Kerala State; but they will not be eligible for communal/PD reservation benefits
Age Limit
There is no upper age limit for General Quota (GQ) candidates
For Service candidates from the Dept of Health Service (i.e., the candidates whose retirement age is 56 years) the upper age limit will be 48 years for PG Dental Courses as on 01st January 2016
But they shall serve the Govt. of Kerala in any capacity which the Government deems fit after their retirement, up to the age of 60 years
For MES candidates, upper age limit will be 52 years as on 01st January 2016
Mode of Selection
All candidates including Service Quota candidates shall have to qualify the "Post Graduate Dental (MDS) Entrance Exam, Kerala-2016" to be conducted by the CEE, Govt. of Kerala
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations shall prepare and publish the Rank List and the Category Lists of SC/ST/SEBC & PD of General candidates who qualify in the Entrance Exam for allotment and admission under General quota seats
Selection of the Service Quota candidates shall be made from the Rank list furnished by the Director of Medical Education and approved by the Post Graduate Selection Committee as per of the prospectus
